We’ll find that needle – but only if it’s there

Target Analytics helps answer mission-critical questions in life sciences, pharmaceutical, financial, and all other industries faced with ever-larger data haystacks and ever more elusive needles. Our products use unique patented methodology to improve precision and reliability of causal inference, the analysis of cause and effect relationships in data.

Target Analytics Consulting

Target Analytics devotes significant time and resources to consulting. The clients include biotech and pharmaceutical companies, as well as law firms litigating cases that require the highest levels of statistical and analytical expertise, such as trials involving product safety. Past consulting engagements have included statistical analyses of Phase III data to determine subpopulations for future trials, treatment effect modification analysis for Phase III trials, structured subgroup analysis, simulating and construction of adaptive designs for Phase III trials with survival outcome, biomarker discovery design and analysis, and safety analysis.

The areas of particularly deep expertise are:
  • Safety analysis for clinical and observational studies
  • Design of clinical trials, including adaptive designs involving sequential testing and re-estimation of sample size during trial
  • Causal effect estimation and inference based on clinical trial data and observational studies, including direct effect estimation
  • High-dimensional genomic data analysis or other high-dimensional data sets involving the discovery of factors (causally) associated with an outcome of interest
  • Biomarker discovery and validation
  • Causal effect estimation and prediction based on case-control studies, e.g. relating whole genome scale genotypes and environmental exposures to phenotypes
  • Optimal construction of risk calculators or other prediction functions, e.g. prediction of breast cancer recurrence based on biomarker and other genomic features of the patient
  • Survival analysis, missing data and censored data
  • Multiple testing
  • Causal statistical reasoning for litigation cases
